Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India is the meaning of ICICI. It is a Banking company in India. It was first come in existence in 1994 by ICICI limited as financial institute in India. Its head quarter is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

As declared on ICICI's official website that it's a private sector bank with total assets of Rs. 5,946.42 Billion at 31st March 2014.

In 2000, It was became the first Indian bank to listed on the NYSE or New York Stock Exchange.
