What is the full form of GSM?

Global System for Mobile is the full form of GSM, which is a standard developed by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) to describe protocols for second-generation (2G) digital cellular networks used by mobile phones.

2G networks developed as a replacement for first generation (1G) analog cellular networks and its a trademark owned by the GSM Association.

GATE Full Form

What is the full form of GATE?

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is the full form of GATE which is an entrance examination for admission in post graduate program or for M Tech. All IIT's conducts every year for this examination jointly.

Eligibility:-
Those candidate who completed there Bachelor of Engineering or BTech can apply and also those candidate can apply who is in final year. M.Sc, M.A. and MCA PG holder are also able to apply.

There are some streams name is given below:-
  • EC
  • CSE and IT
  • EE
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Physics
Result:-
Usually, Result arrives always in/after one month. Those candidate who passed GATE exam gets result which is called Score Card and oppositely, who does not qualify for GATE not get score card, but they can see there result on official website.

Validity:-
Score card is valid for three years form 2015.

Many companies in India, such as maharatna companies or miniratna, and other PSU's companies are hiring from those persons who qualified GATE.

-Rs.1500/- for General/OBC male candidates

Examination date:-
It always held on Saturday/Sunday in February month and declare their result in March month.

What is the Full Form of GRE?

Graduate Record Examinations is the full form of GRE. It is an entrance exam for admission in programs such as -
  • Graduation,
  • Post graduation 
  • PhD programme 
in the USA, Canada, India and other English-speaking countries.

Test Structure
GRE test is totally computer based online examination. GRE test included 6(six) sections. The first part or section is always the analytical writing part including separately timed issue and argument tasks. The next 5 parts consist of two verbal reasoning parts, two quantitative reasoning parts, and either an experimental or research part.

Fee = US$130 and $210, depending on the country in which it is taken.

Age = There is no limit for age to apply for GRE, anyone is eligible to appears in this exam.
